Kristaps Porzingis Ruled Out Of First Round With Torn Meniscus

Kristaps Porzingis has been ruled out for the remainder of the first round with a lateral meniscus tear of his right knee.

Porzingis suffered the injury in Game 1 of the Dallas Mavericks' first round series against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Porzingis played in Games 2 and 3 with the injury.

Treatment options for Porzingis are currently being explored.

Feel for the guy. But, if this isn't a serious injury, Dallas needs to highlight him in the offense as much as they can if/when he's able to return. Then ship him out ASAP before they're stuck with that remaining contract.

All of that talk out of NY about how he's taking his time to rehab thoroughly and ensure his legs and knees are far stronger than before, worked on improving his mechanics, etc. and he can't even get past his first playoff game before he's dealing with yet another significant knee injury. And this is a full 2.5 years past the previous ACL tear.

Nah it was in his left knee with the ACL
