Nikola Jokic discussed his style on offense following the Denver Nuggets' 110-101 win over the Los Angeles Clippers in game 2 to tie the series.
Jokic finished the game with 26 points and 18 rebounds.
“I’m patient because I cannot really run fast. That’s my only option," said Jokic.
Jokic scored 24 points in the first half, along with four 3-pointers.
Jokic added that playing at his own pace opens up options for his teammates.
“When I’m playing offense and I have the ball I just look for defensive mistakes. Just me being a little bit slower kind of gives my teammates a chance to back-cut, lob … Just playing in my comfort zone.”
