Dragan Bender Agrees To Sign With Maccabi Tel Aviv

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Wed Sep 23, 2020 6:35 pm

Dragan Bender has agreed to sign with Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Bender played for Maccabi before he was drafted by the Phoenix Suns in 2016.

Bender spent last season with the Milwaukee Bucks and Golden State Warriors.

Maccabi is believed to have given Bender an NBA out in his contract.

With no action for the next 3 months, I'm surpised we're not seeing more moves like this.

Not gonna argue with the fact that he did not live up to the expectations, but he finally looked serviceable albeit a small sample size with the Dubs.

I remember when celtics fans cried when they picked Jaylen brown over this bust. He looked like he could hold his own against grown European men at 16 years old so all of a sudden he must be a future nba star. If he works on his body and jump shot, maybe he can be a role player. Kid is years away from where he needs to be. Written off as far as I'm concerned, but prayerful he will put it together very quickly. Lest us forget Borris Diaw/Pj Tucker

Hes terrible, probably among worst players in Euroleague right now if not THE worst, 2.6 ppg (38 .4 FG%, 44.4 TS%), 0.4 assists to 1.4 TOs, 2.4 PER. 66.2 ORtg.

Absolute scrub, 4 years in the NBA, and this guy still cant play whatsoever. I remember before draft how we all tried being positive, I remember Nikoloz Tsikishvilli name somehow was brought up, by some skeptic i guess, and we all were like, Nikoloz is just a stiff, Bender actually moves like Unicorm. And here we are, he is actually ended up worse than Tsikishvilli.
