NBA Estimates Loss Of China Revenue During 19-20 Exceeds $200M

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Wed Sep 30, 2020 7:01 pm

The NBA is estimating a loss of at least $200 million from China for the 19-20 season, sources close to the situation tell ESPN's Kevin Arnovitz

CCTV has not aired any NBA games this season following a Tweet from Daryl Morey supporting protesters in Hong Kong. NBA games, however, have been streamed via Tencent with the exception of all games featuring the Houston Rockets.

It remains unclear what the long-terms ramifications will be with the NBA's business interests in China.

200 million reasons why Adam Silver and LeBron would continue to kiss the China government's behind every inch of it.

I think most people would, but the NBA pretends they are on a moral high horse but then when they have a chance to confront REAL oppression like what the Chinese government does they bow down and obey them. They are sad and pathetic. Maybe they shouldn't pretend to be some valorous white knight and instead just act like a normal business.
