Kristaps Porzingis Undergoes Surgery To On Torn Meniscus

Kristaps Porzingis has undergone surgery for a lateral meniscus injury in his right knee.


Porzingis suffered the injury in Game 1 of the Dallas Mavericks' first round playoff series against the Los Angeles Clippers.


Porzingis will begin rehab immediately and there is no timetable for when he will resume basketball activities.

You mean he's just now getting surgery for an injury he suffered 2 months ago?

How much would the Knicks be getting trashed if we still had him and was always hurt. Pretty much the most knick thing to happen. Argument being knicks wouldn’t be in the playoffs for him to get hurt but regardless if he were I wouldnt be surprised if he never played again.

Wish him good health, the games fun to watch when he’s out there.

If it's an uncomplicated tear of the miniscus (something that can be typicaly seen on MRI), the delay isn't that significant. Rehab time on a miniiscus is three to six weeks.

sometimes they want you to strenthen the surrounding muscles so they injury heals better.
