The Golden State Warriors worked out Deni Avdija on Thursday morning in Atlanta.

Avdija performed well in the workout with Warriors' officials reportedly "blown away" after meeting with him.

Avdija is a 19-year-old wing from Maccabi Tel Aviv expected to be a high lottery pick. The Warriors currently own the second overall pick.

Steve Kerr was among the contingent from the Warriors to attend the workout.

I've said this before in other forums and will stick with this prediction, this is my pick for the dubs, should they not pick Wiseman @ #2, if they trade down a little, maybe in the 4-5 spot.

If no teams ante up in proposals for LaMelo and Edwards, what better choice do the Warriors have? Avdija really fits their high IQ system. Omri Casspi, former Warrior, was saying anyone on the team can bring the ball up after a defensive rebound and initiate the offense.

always, when i see him play, it looks like as if he has short arms, but that might be due to his enormously long neck.

why would they advertise this?

this sounds like a smokescreen to increase their draft value for anyone looking trade into that position

The warriors are in or should be in a win-now mode and are looking for veterans to complement Curry and Thompson in their 3-4 year window. Why would they want to draft a rookie to develop and may not pan out?

My guess is that the Knicks will fall for this trick and trade-up
