Bucks Intersted In Trade For Robert Covington, P.J. Tucker

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Sat Nov 14, 2020 3:55 am

The Milwaukee Bucks have interest in Robert Covington and P.J. Tucker of the Houston Rockets.

The direction of the Rockets is unclear as Russell Westbrook would like a trade.

Houston sent out a package for Covington including Clint Cappella and their 2020 first round pick.

Tucker has been seeking an extension with the Rockets and has been frustrated a deal hasn't been reached.

This is playing out almost identically to the way Lebron's first exit from Cleveland went... When they brought in Anthony Parker and Jamario Moon as their big offseason acquisitions to bolster the wing.

Covington and Tucker are better players, of course, but is that really moving the needle? The Bucks need a young, third creator with a reliable jump shot... Not more limited, though reliable, vets.

Who is the washed up version of Shaq and Antwan Jamison?

Covington & Tucker are perfect fits in Milwaukee. They need 3 & D players around Giannis.

As long as they have viable outside threats, teams cannot collapse on Giannis in the paint.
