John Wall Seeks Trade From Wizards

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Sat Nov 21, 2020 3:33 am

John Wall would like a trade from the Washington Wizards.

There were reports last week of trade discussions between the Wizards and Houston Rockets over a Wall for Russell Westbrook trade.

That's mighty big of him after wasting their money and Beal committing for a little longer

How does a man on an untradable contract request a trade?

Also, this means Beal is likely to get traded as well... and maybe Bertans. Scary

Regardless of what you think Wall deserves, you shouldn't fool yourself into believing that his request won't be honored.

He can't handle not being the man anymore and apparently the organization has loss patience with this hoodlum persona, I know I have.

Bertans, yes; Beal, how are you so sure?

The feeling is mutual. They soured on him after video surfaced of him throwing up gang signs. They trying to run a respectable organization. Wall and that gang stuff isn’t new.

Beal wants to win. He wanted to win and wanted to win with John Wall. If Wall leaves, they likely won't get better with whatever they get for him (Tobias Harris, Zhaire Smith, and Matisse Thybulle at best) so I'd guess Beal would ask for a trade as well.

He's just scared Cassius Winston is gonna run circles around him in practice.

& it's not like the wizards don't want to trade him, it's just at this point the wizards would actually have to add a bunch of picks just to get a team to take Wall & that contract.

I get that Wall has been a star most his life, but he needs to get a bit of perspective on where he is at right now

Nyork is interested, Pacers could make a move if they strike out on hayward. Cha could be in play. Houston obviously. Another team that's been willing to absorb bad contracts is OKC. I think Cleveland should make the move.

The only way he's getting traded is if he shows that he's healthy and plays great during the first half of the season. I could see a dumb team like the Pistons thinking that a Wall/Griffin combination could win a championship lol.

Wall is still probably going to be a productive player but man, his contract and self-entitlement suck.

Wiz GM says they wanna build around Beal after he balled the f out on a depleted team and you get salty? Bro, you haven't played in two years and the team paid you $80m. I understand it's in your contract but man, just appreciate that.

Not sure who wants Wall but some trade ideas:

Wall to Charlot... oh wait nevermind...

Wall + Bryant to Detroit for Griffin + Rose

Wall + First Round Pick to Cleveland for Drummond + Garland + Exum

Wall for Westbrook
