The Charlotte Hornets will use the waive and stretch provision on Nic Batum to create the necessary cap space to sign Gordon Hayward.

I mean they'd definitely be able to sign him but why would a contending team want a guy who just shot 35% from the field and 29% from 3?

Batum has always been overrated. I remember when he said the Blazers had a big three with him, Aldridge and Lillard lmao.
