Would you rather have Saric for $9mil / yr or Hayward for $30mil / yr?

I was a little skeptical, but this tips the balance for the Suns. With Saric at the five off the bench and if CP3 is healthy, then Phoenix is pretty close to a lock for the playoffs. I think this team has officially arrived on the scene. *With a healthy CP3!

I like your thinking, but will CP3 be mobile (and fast) enough to make that scheme work? Dario down deep for small ball 5 is enticing... Just dunno if CP3 has the juice east n west on the court. Her should be okay North to South

Yeah, he ain't getting faster. Who really knows. Two seasons ago he was cooked and couldn't beat anyone off the dribble unless they were like 6'10''. Booker's a beast, though. I definitely am not expecting CP3 to be the best player on this team.

Saric at the five is something I heard on a podcast. They were talking about his numbers (on/off, rim protection, etc.) at both the four and five last season, I think, and they said everything points to him being a killer small ball five.

Saric ain't soft, he's just unathletic. And Baynes is equally bad on defense, plus he's constantly injured and getting old.
