Steven Adams has signed a two-year, $35 million extension with the New Orleans Pelicans, sources told Zach Lowe and Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

The Pelicans previously acquired Adams for a first-round pick and two second-round picks.

We'll see how it looks on the court, but I think he's a good fit. He's not a floor spacer, but he's used to playing off stars and doing all the dirty work. Obviously Zion in a beast, but you don't want him having to take that physical pounding every night as the primary rebounder.

Good point...BUT New Orleans is like Atlanta and Charlotte, they have to overpay players to come or stay there..the LA teams can get players on a bargain due to location.
