Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Thu Nov 26, 2020 6:14 am

The NBA granted the Golden State Warriors a Disabled Player Exception worth $9.3 million, sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic.

The exception is due to Klay Thompson's season-ending Achilles injury.

The exception will expire on April 19th.

The exception can only be used in a single player, either as a free agent signing, from a trade, or taking a player off waivers. The player can only be signed for one season.

I don’t know that there’s a free agent left for them worth anything close to $9.3 million. I think they hold onto it for now in case a team needs to dump salary.

They will hold it until mid season to see who gets waived or becomes available in trades.

Somewhere LeBron is cursing to the heavens. Hates to see them lose Klay Thompson for the season just to become stronger going into the playoffs. Warriors are going to be deep with whoever they sign. Hopefully it's for a lights out shooter maybe it's helps get them beal
