Kings Looking For Draft Compensation In Potential Buddy Hield Trade

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Sat Dec 5, 2020 4:45 pm

The Sacramento Kings are looking to receive draft compensation in any trade involving Buddy Hield, sources told Ian Begley of SNY.

No trade involving Hield was imminent as of earlier this week.

Begley adds that it is unknown whether the Knicks would be interested in a trade for Hield, or would be willing to give up draft picks in a deal.

Don't. Do. It. Knicks.

They can have Knox and dsjr, who are like draft picks, and maybe a few SRPs.

Hield is worth more than that, but it'd be dumb (typical) of the Knicks to acquire him

Who is steering this ship? They let Bogdan walk to make Hield happy, and now Hield could be traded?

The league really needs to step in and try to put out this garbage fire of a franchise.

Halliburton clearly compliments Fox and both are much better playmakers than Buddy. He was always getting traded imo

Sounds good except there's no need to send out a frp. Maybe a second or two. Heild having any more value than that with his contract would be astounding.

Kings might as well go after No. 13 from the rockets.

If Kings only picked Luka Doncic instead of Marvin Bagliey, then there may be talk of playoffs. Now, it's about rebuilding and getting a draft pick in trade. Or if they didn't let their draft list leak, then they could've got a pick and trade. They are the Kangz once again and will be for years.

Yo. Tron Carter dumped on it real hard too. Hiked would be great for us. He’s young and could grow with our other players.

Not that 28 is old, but it's more about giving away a bunch of FRPs for him.

He would be what the Knicks need and want. I just assume, due to their past, that the Knicks would be giving multiple FRPs for him.

Multiple first round picks? I would not do that. I’m thinking Knox, DSJ and a either a couple second round picks or maybe a ‘24 FRP.

Isn't this an obvious OKC trade? They have the picks, the space, and he compliments SGA nicely AND he went to Oklahoma

Worst run team. Blessed with so many draft picks and don’t know how to use them. Structural culture is crap.

If that's what they want, and if the pick is protected somewhere, that'd be fine

Rockets, Celtics would both be logical fits

Doesn't seem like a Presti move IMO plus Buddy's contract isn't good.
