Rockets Seek Either Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving From Nets For James Harden

The Houston Rockets have no interest in a trade package from the Brooklyn Nets for James Harden unless it includes either Kevin Durant or Kyrie Irving.

Brooklyn's trade package for Harden is widely believed to be some combination of Jarrett Allen, Caris LeVert, Spencer Dinwiddie and future first round picks.

The Rockets are seeking a young star and numerous draft assets for Harden.

Both Durant and Irving are signed through 2022 and committed to the Nets in the 2019 offseason.

It's too bad Marks can just do Kyrie dirty and put him in the deal. I'm sure, deep down, he wants to but KD might get upset.

If they include Kyrie, I wonder if they can keep Lavert, or, both Allen and SD, and just throw endless picks at them.

You'd be lucky to get 50 games out of Kyrie a season from now on. Looks like 60 has been hard to get from him his whole career.

Bravo to the Rockets for their stance here. Obviously the previous brass there completely bent to Hardens will. The new group in charge clearly have the cards now. They know Harden wants out but let’s be real, with two years left on his deal, he has no clout. All he can do is bring drama, which is exactly what he’s doing. He’s an idiot and I hope the Rockets send him to a wasteland like Sacramento. Although if I’m the Rockets I’d be happy to take Dinwiddie, Lavert, Allen, Joe and FRP’s in ‘25 and ‘26 when that clusterf*ck of a star trio ages out.

lol, Marks has to somehow ask KD if this is cool without Kyrie knowing in case things fall apart.

Kyrie, Deandre Jordan and 1st picks for Harden and Tucker.

Jordan is from Houston Texas. 8-)

Rockets should take the deal of levert, windiddy, Allen , harris, and 1st Rd pick. They won't get a better deal

Rockets know exactly what they're doing. They don't really expect to get KD or Kyrie back. They're setting the market and letting the league AND Harden know what it would take to trade him with 2 years left on his deal. Or in other words, set the price so high that it can't be done. Smart move.

Harden's better than Kyrie, even if you don't take Kyrie's injury history into account. Kyrie has done nothing after Lebron.

Joe Harris isn’t in the deal. Wtf is wrong with you? It’s Dinwiddie as well. Put some respect on his name.

It would likely be LeVert, Allen, Prince, possibly Kurucs and 3 1st round picks/swaps.
