James Harden: Right Now, I'm Just Focused On Being Here

James Harden did not directly answer any questions about his desire to be traded from the Houston Rockets in his first media availability since his arrival at training camp.

"Right now, I'm just focused on being here," Harden said Wednesday. "Today was good. Yesterday felt really good being out there for the first time since the bubble. I haven't really had the opportunity to do a lot of 5-on-5 work, but for my first time being out there, it felt pretty good."

Harden has requested a trade with the Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers atop his list.

Harden arrived to camp late after traveling to Atlanta and Las Vegas.

"I was just training," Harden said when asked the point he was attempting to get across by making those trips instead of reporting to training camp on time.

Asked what he was training for, Harden said, "The start of the NBA season." He said he worked with "my personal trainers" on the trip.

“Personal trainers” aka strippers lol enjoy it because I doubt he gets traded any time soon. He’s going to be stuck for the foreseeable future.

Unless prime Cousins and Wall show up and I'm not even sure that's enough. I can't imagine him not being traded at the deadline.

The Rockets are going sit and wait around until Harden blows out his knee and then get half of what they could have gotten if they had already traded him.

It's kinda hard to blow your knee unathletically flopping on offense and without playing any defense. Lap dancing on his hardened.. knee, that I can see happening

I think the amount of attention this guy gets is laughable. He has a mvp the ultimate individual award but has never made it to the finals in all his years of playing including with good supporting casts.
If anything hes on a decline and he knows it.
Its just like him to not own it

He made it to the finals on OKC with Westbrook and Durant before being traded to Houston

I'm not defending Harden. He should just play for Houston and give the team a chance this season instead of forcing his way into the east.
