Giannis Antetokounmpo: We're Better This Year

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Sat Dec 26, 2020 1:58 am

Giannis Antetokounmpo is optimistic about the improves the Milwaukee Bucks made this offseason.

Milwaukee defeated the Golden State Warriors 138-99 in their home opener.

"The Milwaukee Bucks this year, we're good ... we're better," Antetokounmpo said after the win. "We have some great guys that we added to the team. They're playing the right way, and once everything fits in together, we're going to be good. It's going to be fun to watch."

Antetokounmpo committed his future to the Bucks by signing a supermax before the start of the season.

How did they lose to the Celtics who were playing without Kemba then?

They are better this year, but so are the Nets. And if Nets stay healthy for the playoffs, I don't see any other Eastern conference team challenging them.

The heat better, 76ers better, nets better too. All these teams got better and bucks bench got worse. Whoever comes out of the east can win the ring too. The lakers shouldn't be clear favorite to win it nor clippers

The Lakers may have already been in trouble last year if it wasn't for Bam and Dragic getting hurt out of the gates. Good competition in the league right now.

Not sure I would use the current Warriors team as a benchmark to gauge how good the Bucks are. Warriors have been blown out in both games they've played.

Anyone who sees Clippers as the favorites need to reconcile the trainwreck they were in the playoffs. That collapse can't be blamed on players that are gone now, that was Kawhi and PG, their two best players both crapping the bed. Lakers won it and they improved so they have to be the favorites.
