Marvin Bagley's Father Tweets Trade Request

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Mon Jan 4, 2021 1:09 pm

The father of Marvin Begley III wrote a post on Twitter asking the Sacramento Kings to trade his son following the Sacramento Kings' 102-94 loss at the Houston Rockets on Saturday.

Bagley remained on the bench to close out Saturday's game.

“My message is always the same: We don’t listen to any of that,” Luke Walton said in response. “It’s us within these walls, us within this locker room. We’re in this together. Good or bad, whatever people are saying, we’ve got to do everything we can to not let that affect what we’re trying to get done here.”

Bagley's father also did not like the coaching of Dave Joerger during his rookie season with the Kings.

He would serve well on the raptors...just putting it out there. Could be wishful thinking.

Kings likely won't move on from him for at least another year (if at all). You can't pick him over Luka and simply give up on him now.
He looked good against the Suns so I'm not sure what's gone on with him since then.

The guy hasn’t shown nearly enough on the court, nor stayed healthy enough, to have his father making unhinged tweets that don’t help his career as if he’s some superstar being tweeted unfairly. Stop blaming everyone else for posting a 43% TS%. Dad really needs to sit down and shut up.

Nurse is below average at best.
Masai is overrated.
I dont get how so many people believe in the raptors, they have zero to chance to win it all.

He would be a pretty intriguing fit on the Raptors, who really need offense up front. The teams aren't very good trade partners though, as both teams are pretty guard heavy.

This is what happens when everyone treats any top 5 pick like they are instant stars before they even play.

I would assume everyone in Sacranento wants to be traded.
