Interesting trade. Durant better be willing to change more diapers with both Irving and Harden.

Wall, Cousins, and Oladipo. All players that haven't been healthy in over 2 years. Big L for the Rockets. Get ready for a decade of tanking H-Town fans

What an egregious overpay for New Jesery. Harden makes other players on the team less valuable. Kyrie is the biggest head case this side of Latrell Spreewell. And they gave up a lot of spare parts. But the draft pickes are inexcuseable. Yeah, they're not going to be real high, but it's way too big a price to pay for Harden. Way too much.

But Houston did well to clear ouf both Westbrook and Harden. Neither is very good at making other players better and neither are outstianding teammnates. They should be a solidly middle to plowe part of the pack playoff team soon. I'm just stunned that the Nets paid anything close to that. I figured a young player, and maybe one or two draft choices.

I feel like the Pacers are going to end up being the winner in all of this...

Amazing trade for the Nets. That big 3 is probably the best the game has seen. Lavert and Jarrett Allen are just average starter quality and easily replaceable, the 1st round picks for Harden are a cheap trade, and the swaps mean nothing. Great job Brooklyn front office.

:noway: OKC had both KD and Harden with a better pg in Westbrook. A fat Harden and spacey Kyrie isn’t winning a title, they’ll be lucky if all three even play together at this point.

A hobbled Dipo is better than Levert, a shooting guard that’s posted a 53,54, 53 ts in the last three seasons.

This is a good way for the Nets to take power away from Kyrie.

No more star treatment for you dude. You are not our star. You are the 3rd dude.

He got what he wanted which was to save money and get below the tax, when ever you have an owner worried about spending you have a losing franchise. Sorry Rocket fans but you’ll never accomplish anything as long as he owns the team.

This isn't the 90's. All 3 of those guys are pretty much useless in today's NBA. There's a reason why Drummond got traded for a bag of popcorn and a diet coke.

The pistons went on to sign 4 centers in FA for waaaayyy more than they were worth, so using them as the example for deciding what’s valuable is pretty stupid.

Harden wasn't this James Harden at OKC, he wasn't barley a Caris Levert level player at that point. Even Durant and Westbrook weren't to their prime yet

This is definitely gonna happen at some point, except it'll prob be more like "AINGE had trade for Harden locked up, but covid protocols made trade fall through"

Those are unprotected 1st rounders and swaps all the way to 2027. KD is 32 just recovered from a torn ACL. Harden and Irving are proven to be not winners on their own and are going to be on the decline from here on. This is not a team that will be at the top for the next 6 years. The nets is basically trading away their future to win now. That now 1 to 3 years tops.

100% on the money. Instead of almost making a trade for a superstar Ainge will proceed to draft useless players like Tremont Waters, Tacko Fall, and Grant Williams. He's the most overrated GM

That's if Kyrie ends up playing this season. Or giving effort if he does play. Hopefully he doesn't quit on the team in the playoffs like he did with the Celtics but I could definitely see that happening.

Nets wont have their pick if good until2029 and they gave up lavert and allen? For one guy? This rarely works. Time will tell I think it's a mistake.they were already one of the favs to go to the finals just having durant. I don't get it.

Anytime you can add a top 5 player in his prime you do it. They will add the necessary small pieces via trade or buyout players.. Good luck guarding those 3
