The Brooklyn Nets have acquired James Harden from the Houston Rockets, which is something Kevin Durant has pushed for 

"This was something Kevin Durant very much wanted," said Adrian Wojnarowski. "He and Harden started talking about this months ago."

Durant can become a free agent again in 2022, which could have been a motivating factor for the Nets.

"Kevin Durant is in the second year of a four-year deal and getting Harden is another reason for Durant to want to stay," added Wojnarowski.

Durant and Harden were teammates early in their careers with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

So wtf was the point of leaving the Warriors?

I thought Shawn Marks was smarter than this.

Finally James Harden won't be relied on to carry a team in the playoffs.

He only got to the WCF because his supporting cast beat the Clippers (they choked the lead too) and the Rockets also got to the WCF with Chris Paul nearly closing Warriors out but... one hamstring took it from them.

He, Durant and Irving have no excuse to not win an NBA championship, plus they're in the top heavy East.

Rockets fans knew Harden was a frequent clubber but he seemed like a huge Diva who wanted to take days off of practice to travel to Vegas. Oh well, good riddance !

KD left OKC so he could play for a real team system. Then he left the Warriors because he doesn't want to be part of a "team" system, LOL.

Because he didn't fit in with that Warriors team off of the court. They treated him like a 2 dollar hooker. Even the GM took shots at him during the parade.

Individual talent is there, but will it work?
To me they still lacking that leadership type guy.
