League 'Would Really Like' LaMelo Ball To Be In Skills Challenge

The league reportedly is interested in having LaMelo Ball participate in the NBA Skills Challenge, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

"I'm told that one player the league would really like to get involved in that skills competition, is the Rookie of the Year favorite right now, Charlotte's LaMelo Ball," said Wojnarowski.

The Three-Point Contest and Skills Challenge would take place before the All-Star Game on March 7th.

The Slam Dunk Contest would then take place at halftime.

The league 'Would Really Like' to keep pretending they are a basketball league, instead of an entertainment business.

Hire some better refs. Give coaches more challenges per game. Start fining LeBron real money for diving.

I think the players should have to prepare a skit like Pedro had to do on Napolean Dynamite. Forget the skills competition. Just have skits.

They really should not drag there anyone other than the All-Star selections. (Even that is questionable)

Just fill the skills challenge, 3pt shootout and dunk contest participant list with guys who will be there anyway.

Having the stars participate will actually attract more viewers.
