The Houston Rockets are planning to part ways to DeMarcus Cousins in the "coming days," sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic.

The Rockets are looking to go smaller and younger in the front court once Christian Wood returns.

Cousins is averaging 9.4 points and 7.6 rebounds in 25 minutes.

Cousins' professionalism has received positive feedback during his time in Houston.

They guaranteed his contract to just release him? I didn’t know the NBA practiced severance packages.

i hate that he might go to broolyn but he didnt like the harden departure so maybe not.
the wizards need him but he wont go.
the celtics or portland seem like spots that make the most sense. i like him on bucks too.

but i thought he said he went to houston because of "john wall" when he was criticizing the beard.

I'd like to see the Mavericks sign him, but the Lakers are clearly the best fit, unless they burned their bridges with him. If so Brooklyn looks like a likely landing spot.

Raptors need a big, could get rotation minutes right away.

New York has a better record, don't drag the Knicks into the Rockets current disarray.
