LaMarcus Aldridge is expected to meet with the Miami Heat, Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers and Brooklyn Nets, sources told Chris Haynes of Yahoo! Sports.


Aldridge and the Spurs agreed to a buyout on Thursday.

He wouldn't have any playing time with Nurk returning and Kanter playing as well as he has been.

The fact that the championship teams can sign good players for basically nothing is all you need to know about how trade deadline buyouts need to be fixed in the NBA.

It encourages ring chasing, makes the rich richer all too easily, and just isn't equitable

Hey, I get it. Winning is big. But after almost 2 years, you'd think the Raptors fans would chill a bit. Congratulations they won. Enjoy it. But let's not act like they beat the greatest team in the world at 100%. Alot of things happened that series to get the win. Its great. Can't control that. But special? Let's not call it that either.

I'm a Nurkic fan but with his injury history, the Blazers should be looking at Aldridge and Cousins. The Lakers and Sixers should also for the same injury concerns to their bigs.
