Why is he drinking so much that he doesn't know which van he's getting into?

Why, when he's told it's the wrong van, does he have anything to say but "I apologize"?

These situations are avoidable. Life teaches tough lessons!

Exactly you say I'm sorry my mistake. But I'll bet that Brown who is a worthless ahole and a scrub, knew exactly what he was doint and it was not a mistake. Probably some female in that van that he thought he was gonna pull out and take with him. These NBA players are a disgrace with their behavior. Now Brown is some kind of victim because he got a bottle bashed over his head.

Although I agree that these situations area avoidable, how do you know that A: he was drunk, B: was told it's the wrong van, And C: did not apologize?

It's a Mercedes van with a very large cargo area. It is commonly used by couriers and delivery drivers due to the large cargo area and strong engine which is pretty reliable.

The real question is - what is a "springer van?"

Even without corona protocols, what a great decision Sterling! Top athlete's choice. Very professional behaviour. Not!

For a fringe player like him, I would assume it would make sense to try to be as ready as possible, if your name is called in a game.

Anyway, that is one thing.

But doing this while under 'strict' NBA corona protocols. What the hell was he thinking? Apparently he was not thinking at all?

Most players can go out the night before a game and be fine to play for 7pm the next night. Some cant, Sterling brown has been playing well this season. If thats his routine, thats okay. Not everyone has to be Kobe.

I have experience with that too. A "Springer van" was the method of transportation to and from the airport for the show "Jerry Springer" the seats were often stained by blood and other fluids. Usually a Mercedes Sprinter van was also used.

Good one. Still is far away from reaching the greatest story including NBA player and car. For the younger ones, just
google Eddie Griffin, car crash and porn.

Porter was making the same mistake right along with him.

No indication they were drunk, they just went to club.

The infantilism of the comments on here is very, very sad.

Don't blame the victims.

The perpetrators need to be found and have heavy felony charges thrown at them.

Florida’s law the "Castle Doctrine," says people are allowed to use deadly force without retreating first in their occupied homes, vehicles or workplaces. If they were in their vehicle and a very big and strong person enter it without permission, I don't know that Florida law is really on Sterling's side...

Well....

"Miami-Dade police said Brown had "multiple lacerations throughout his body" when they arrived at the strip club at 6:53 a.m. Monday"

They play on Monday evening at 7pm, and are still at a strip club on that same morning at 6:53am?

OK. I now learned that Sterling Brown was sidelined due to a knee issue, but I assume this is still something that is against the NBA Covid-protocols.

But what the hell was Kevin Porter Jr up at that time of the morning, without being a slept at all during the night.

I certainly hope that the players in the teams I support do not share this type of 'professionalism'.

Newsflash for you Boomer...it's 2021. That's typical behavior for young men in their 20s...many of us aren't leaving work and heading home to play house. We stay up, we go hard, we work, and we sleep when we need it.

actually with a little more details, thats a bit of a problem 1. 7am is really late. 2. sterling brown is 26 years old, grow up. 3.COVID!! If there was no virus, this is fine if it didnt end up in injury and he does this and can get ready for games after. Harden been running on 4 ours of sleep and Jack daniels on his breath for a decade

Although I agree that these situations area avoidable, how do you know that A: he was drunk, B: was told it's the wrong van, And C: did not apologize?

I don't know anything. My assumption is based on the following:
A) He was exiting a strip club and tried to enter the wrong vehicle. Both are indications of likely intoxication.
B) I am assuming that the verbal altercation began by him being told, in one way or another, that it was the wrong van.
C) There was a verbal altercation, which implies a heated argument. Almost anything can be solved by taking ownership of your mistakes and apologizing. The fact that he was wrong and still let it become a verbal and eventually physical altercation is another sign of intoxication.

I could be wrong on all counts, but I doubt it.
