Kevin Love Interested In Playing For Blazers

Kevin Love went on record to state he's interested in playing for the Portland Trail Blazers.
"Who wouldn't want to play with Dame Lillard? First off all. He's special, he's amazing," said Love in an interview with Chris Hayes.
"I claim Portland. People asked me where I'm from... I spent all my formative years, I grew up in Portland. People ask me where I was born, I obviously say L.A.
"Portland is always going to be a special place in my heart. Whether it be at the end of my career, whether it be in six months. Whatever if may be. If I was wearing a Portland jersey, that's special. That's playing at home."
Love cannot become an unrestricted free agent until 2023 unless he agrees to a buyout with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

No thanks we already suck on defense. Love is not loved in Portland much either, he was cocky kid who never had to deal with any real world problems growing up in the most prestigious and wealthy part of city and state. Much like his father, he acted like his s*** don't stink and ran his mouth about anything that wasn't Kevin Love. He spit in the faces of the state schools by saying his talent was too good to be wasted on them then to rub it in more he goes to UCLA. This is a "hometown" boy that nobody in the state ever cares if he comes back.

He currently plays for the league’s 28th ranked defense, so he must look at the league’s 29th best defense with jealousy and says sign me up!

I'm sure Cavs are willing to see him go if he makes it financially appealing to them. Or, he can do good time and maybe on trade deadline February 2023, the Cavs give him a freebie. Of course, this type of public announcement doesn't qualify him for a good behavior early release.

Last I checked no one is forcing him to be in Cleveland. If he's that miserable. Then give up half of the 60 million still owed to him and go to a contender. Though he's not winning anything in Portland.

Seems a match made in heaven. They already have a frontcourt that plays no defense, seems a perfect landing spot for him.

The fact that he signed the fattest contract with a downward spiraling team and pouts now is really putting me off.
