Kevin Durant On Matchup Versus Giannis Antetokounmpo: 'We've Got Our Work Cut Out For Us'

The Brooklyn Nets closed out the Boston Celtics 123-109 in Game 5, winning the series 4-1.

James Harden lead the scoring with 34 points, while Kyrie Irving added 25 points and Kevin Durant scoring 24 points.

“We just don’t want to take any of this time for granted,” said Irving after the game. “This doesn’t happen too often kind of in our culture, in our history, where three of the best scorers to ever play the game are on one team.”

The Nets host the Bucks starting on Saturday. The Nets are in the second round of the playoffs for the first time since 2014.

Durant looked forward to the challenge of defending Giannis Antetokounmpo.

“We've got our work cut out for us. I mean, he’s a two-time MVP, Defensive Player of the Year for a reason, so we’re looking forward to the challenge," said Durant.

This is going to a be fun series to watch.

Nets have a high octane offense.
Bucks have the personnel to attack the Nets defensively.

PJ Tucker knows James Harden's repertoire inside and out having played alongside him for years.
Jrue Holiday - one of the best defensive guards in the league - will make Kyrie work for his shots.
Giannis will at least make Durant work for a few of his shots.

Three of the best scores to ever play the game???

Take a bow, people.

The sad thing with this poor looser is that he reclaims recognition for being black when he ignores most of the history of black basketball.
