Kendrick Nunn is on the New York Knicks radar as a potential offseason signing, sources told Ian Begley of SNY.

Nunn, who averaged 14.6 points last season, will be a restricted free agent this summer.

Nunn could reportedly receive offers in the range of $15 million per season, according to John Hollinger of The Athletic.

This is actually a great fit for the Knicks. Nunn could be a Ben Gordon type of player for them.

[*] Efficient player who almost joined the 40 50 90 club this season despite having his minutes bounced around like a yo yo. You put him on a team that doesn't play at a snail's pace, he's gonna blow up like he did his 1st month as a Rookie, but then we decided to let Jimmie Butler slow down the pace and be the point for the betterment of the team. I forsee another Kelly Olynyk blossoming happening if he leaves.

Don’t think Kelly Olynyk really ‘blossomed,’ he just put up numbers on a historically bad team because someone had to. He’s 30 years old and we know exactly who he is, it’s not like people are really looking at 19ppg on a tanking team and thinking that Olynyk was a star all along.

Given how poorly Tyler Herro has faired and Victor Oladipo's injury situation -- don't forsee the Heat letting Kendrick Nunn walk.

He will blossom given the playing time -- has the work ethic, efficiency in his game to become a starting caliber point gaurd.

The risk to the Knicks is to avoid a bidding war for any RFA -- the Heat can obviously match any offer -- the Knicks can frontload contracts making it impossible for teams to match without having huge tax implications.

Another viable option would be Talen Horton Tucker -- very intriguing burly gaurd that can wind up being among the upper echelon of 2 way guards in the league.

We will end up paying RFA Duncan Robinson($20+mil), Goran Dragic(mid level), and will be trying to spend about 25mil in capspace for a big fish. Not gonna be too much $$ left over for NUNN. Not to mention the franchise's infatuation with fellow guard Tyler Hero, whom Riley just mentioned again as a foundation cornerstone(no mention of Nunn). Nunn is our most unappreciated player, I believe he can be stolen from us.

I can see this happening, heat have no reason to keep Nunn and have not mentioned anything about him, and has the potential to be in the top 15 guards. Also a great fit for the Knicks, a true steal
