NBA Fines Daryl Morey, 76ers $75,000 Apiece For Tampering On Stephen Curry

The NBA announced it has fined Philadelphia 76ers President of Basketball Operations Daryl Morey $75,000 for violating the league’s anti-tampering rule. The fine is in response to a social media post Morey made June 3 regarding the Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry.

The 76ers also were fined $75,000 for Morey’s conduct.

Daryl Morey announced on October 15, 2020 that he was stepping down as GM of Houston on November 1, 2020.

On November 2, 2020 was hired as The Head of Basketball Operations of Philadelphia.

Are we using operating under two different definitions of the word lucky here?
