Adebayo: 23 DRB%, 1.7 STL%, 3.2 BLK%
Ayton: 26 DRB%, 1.0 STL%, 3.4 BLK%

Miami: 111.2 DRTG (7th)
Phoenix: 111.3 DRTG (9th)

Center DRPM
8.00 Gobert
4.98 Capela
3.78 Adebayo
3.53 Turner
3.22 Ayton
2.98 Embiid

I don't think you understand what "lol" means. That would have been Ayton making it over Clint Capela.

Not sure why we have an all defensive team...no one plays defense in the NBA anymore.

Who else misses watching Payton, Artest, Bowen, Rodman, young iverson, etc hound the offense?
Much preferred the NBA when final game scores were in the upper 90s to low 100s.
So much emphasis on scoring now its become painfully boring.

So basically Ayton or Adebayo should not been there and instead Capela should have received the nod.

Lol that era literally featured a 69-65 Conference Finals playoff game where both teams shot 35-36% (04 Pistons/Pacers G6)

Get outta here with that nonsense. It was the least popular era of the last 30 years. The whole reason the rules were changed to open up offense is because of how stale the on-court product was.

Got news for you. Those players you listed wouldn’t be able to defend in today’s NBA either.

It’s not that players decided to stop playing defense, it’s the exact opposite, it’s that offences have increased the pace, the floor spacing and the ball movement making them extremely difficult to defend now. Those players played in the 90’s and 00’s when team offenses were very basic.
