Scott Brooks and the Washington Wizards have agreed to part ways.

The two sides were unable to come to agreement on a new contract.

No one will be able to control or work in Westbrook like Brooks did, the Wiz will be lottery bound next year without him.

I'm surprised they even had extension talks. It was time for him to leave and for the team to have a new voice.

To me it looked like the Wizards actually over-achieved with all the things they went through and were able to push to a playoff spot.

I have to admit I didn't follow them too closely but Brooks is one of the better coaches out there and had a good relationship with Russ. The team just didn't have a great roster last season.

Sadly, I think Brooks will not see another opportunity anytime soon, if at all in the NBA. He’d probably make a great college hoops coach.

The only reason this guy gets jobs in the first place is because of white priviledge. Kareem abdul jabar can't get a job but dis dude just keeps getting chances. Also what about Mark Jackson bro.

The Wizards were really going to extend this guy? This is why they'll never be a contender.
