Blazers Schedule Press Conference For Tuesday To Announce Head Coach

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Sun Jun 27, 2021 6:05 pm

The Portland Trail Blazers have scheduled a press conference for Tuesday at noon to announce their new head coach, reported Jason Quick of The Athletic.

The team is not revealing who the coach is, although the Blazers have reportedly come to terms with Chauncey Billups.

The Blazers parted ways with Terry Stotts following the end of their season.

If they listen to the fan base (especially the female fans) and want to sell tickets and merch it won’t be Billups. Sorry but after researching the incident, reading the police report, reading the rape kit evidence, hearing from fans who are victims of sexual assault themselves and how this brings back their own pain and without Chauncey himself addressing the issue, they can’t in good conscience hire him.

I’m glad they brought in the coach they thought was best- regardless of race, gender or previous alleged past transgressions.

The elitist, woke, white sjw’s of Portland dont make front office decisions for the Trail Blazers.

It's tough... I wish this was more about basketball and less about politics.
