Kevin Love has withdrawn from the United States for the Tokyo Olympics, citing a calf injury.

"I am incredibly disappointed to not be heading to Tokyo with Team USA, but you need to be at absolute peak performance to compete at the Olympic level and I am just not there yet," said Love.

The United States will replace both Love and Bradley Beal on their roster. Jerami Grant is in quarantine while Devin Booker, Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton are still playing in The Finals.

He's terrible. And not just by NBA standards, even just by Olympic basketball standards compared to Euroleague and fringe NBA talent Kevin Love is a bad basketball player.

Cavs should have traded him for assets and went full rebuild before signing him to 120 million.

Is the NBA the only business that foolishly throws away hundreds of millions of dollars like it's nothing?

Its kind of crazy is somebody putting a gun to teams to give out these ridiculous contracts that they regret in year 1

I didnt know why he agreed, hes not friends with any ball players and no one respects him, if he had any dignity he should of never agreed in the 1st place

yeah, no idea why Team USA would do a whole camp w/ a player and then wait until they already barely had a five-man line-up to kick someone (who’d been an NBA allstar 5x) off of the team
