With that said, I don't think that it's accidental or coincidence that CP3 has such an inordinately poor record with Foster reffing. I'd highly recommend folks getting on TuneIn, looking up "Whistleblower", and giving that podcast series a listen. It delves into the Donaghy scandal, Scott Foster, David Stern, the FBI agent in the middle of it all... can't speak highly enough of it. I enjoyed it and found it to be one of the most interesting pieces of media I've taken in this year. I'll link it below for anyone interested.

Agree, it is a must listen to all NBA fans. I actually came away from it less of a fan because it did such a great job of exposing how corrupt the officials are but this series helped me gain faith in the NBA again, 2 smaller market teams playing their hearts out every game has been missing for a long time. The Scott Foster / CP3 legacy has legs to stand on, CP3 has been screwed over time and time again and I wouldn't be surprised if both his wins when Foster refereed where early in his career before CP3 questioned Fosters intentions after the Donaghy scandal.
A little personal story, my favorite part of the podcast was when they exposed Steve Javie. I was actually ejected from a Blazers game in the early 2000s for refusing to give up my "Kobe no means no!" sign so I left and waited in the garage to make sure Kobe saw it. After the Lakers bus drove off I found a sign on the ground that said "The refs are for the Lakers" so I picked it up and held it up at the garage exit and the refs (driving in one car, something the podcast points out as a way they would pocket expense cash) pulled up with Javie driving he rolled his window down and said "yeah we're for the Lakers!" and flipped me off as he drove off, it was one of the best moments of my life knowing I got under their skin enough for him to point me out lol.
