Malika Andrews Considered Strong Candidate To Become Next Countdown Host

Malika Andrews is viewed as a strong candidate to replace Maria Taylor as host of NBA Countdown.
Andrews replaced Rachel Nichols as ABC's sideline reporter for the NBA Finals. ESPN executives previously hand-picked her to serve as one of the first reporters inside the NBA “bubble” last year.
But Andrews has never anchored or hosted a show as her primary experience has been as a reporter.
Nichols is not in the running for the Countdown job.
