The Los Angeles Lakers have interest in Danny Green and Dwight Howard in free agency, sources tell Chris Haynes of Yahoo! Sports.
Green and Howard were on the Lakers' championship wining team in 2020. There is interest internally in "getting the band together again," Haynes said.
The Lakers traded Green to the Oklahoma City Thunder as part of the Dennis Schroder trade and was flipped to the Philadelphia 76ers. Howard signed with the 76ers in free agency after it initially appeared he would re-sign with the Lakers.
