Pelicans Interested In Lauri Markkanen Sign-And-Trade With Bulls Seeking First Rounder

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Mon Aug 9, 2021 2:07 am

The New Orleans Pelicans have interest in Lauri Markkanen and could acquire him via a sign-and-trade by using their $1 million trade exception.

Markkanen is a restricted free agent and he has expressed a preference to leave the Chicago Bulls.

The Bulls, however, are seeking a first round pick in exchange for facilitating a deal involving Markkanen.

You couldn't look to get him when they were taking Lozo Ball from you?

This David Griffin is proving to be more and more incompetent.

Or I wonder if Bulls does not allow them to take Markkanen during the S&T (or purposely showing the league on the evidence of tampering happened?).

Similarly with the Lowry S&T, as Heat seems to dictate the trade, where they included Dragic, and Raptors were trying to flip that contract (same thing purposely showing the league on the evidence of tampering happened?).

Griff, you have 100 firsts, just offer the option a swap of your highest non-lottery pick in one of the next three years and the deal should be done.
