Anthony Davis felt some frustration that he wasn't getting the kind of passes he was receiving from Dennis Schroder as he had a year earlier with Rajon Rondo, a source tells Eric Pincus of Bleacher Report. 

Schroder and Davis only connected on one lob all season.

The Los Angeles Lakers let Schroder walk, signed Rondo and also traded for Russell Westbrook. While Westbrook may complicate the Lakers' floor spacing, his ability to get into the lane will certainly create more lob opportunities for Davis.

The Lakers replaced Schroder, Harrell, Kuzma, KCP, and Caruso with Westbrook, Howard, Carmelo, Rondo, Monk and Nunn.

It was a successful offseason.

Exactly. I suspect more Laker players were frustrated with 27 year old AD for only playing 36 games. He is a bit tone deaf to be talking about being frustrated with other players when he was only available for half of the games.

? the lakers gave up a ton for him, and re uped him knowing damn well that he would miss a lot of games. Thats the whole deal when you get AD. its not like this is something new.

When Dennis leads a team to an NBA championship or at least wins one then he gets to vent his frustrations. Until then he can stfu. He’s a terrible pg.

Shruder missed 11 games himself, that is no small number in a 72 game season. He missed 15% of the season.

Now lookin at the currently assembled team, I'm so glad we don't have Schroder on a 84 million contract w the team built around him as one of the key cogs for 4 years. Whew

Schroder hurt the Lakers in many games when he chose to shoot the ball too often, with his crappy 43.7 FG%, instead of passing the ball.

Agreed. I've been following him since his Atlanta days (when they traded away Jeff Teague to handover the position to Schroder). He has been consistently: immature, self-centered and making bad decisions (shooting instead of passing/penetrating).

Good move by the Lakers to let him go. And he never came close to the 20-25 mln/year he was asking for
