LeBron James has confirmed that he is vaccinated against COVID-19.

"I can speak about myself," said James when asked about the issue. "I think everyone has their own choice to do what they feel is right for themselves and their families. I know that I was very skeptical about it all, but after doing my research, I felt like it was best suited for not only me, but my friends. That's why I decided to do it.

"You guys know me, anything I talk about, I don't talk about other people and what they should do. I speak for me and my family. That's what It's about."

Wow I can't believe i'm saying this but i actually agree with what he said here.

James' response seems weak, but it may very well be the best approach ... upsetting people about feeling by making them feel you're stomping on their liberties is not productive. Maybe someone in the league will text him and ask him about his "research".

Mr. James, for people who have similar concerns as you once did, what research did you do to alleviate your concerns? Can you provide the details so that others can make an informed decision? this could possibly save a life.

To all the young and fit individuals stop being so damn stupid and selfish.
You need to catch covid-19 to protect your family with natural immunity.
Stop being selfish getting 1, 2, 3, .... vaccines and booster shots as you are still transmissible and are putting your friends and family at risk of covid. If you care about the elderly/grandparents lets get thing going.

Instead of the sellouts in Washington giving billions to the big pharma drug cartels some of that money needs to go COVID PARTYs - 2 week lockins for fit and healthy individuals to get the disease and come out with natural immunity which is proven far more effective than the endless jabs that keep wearing off.

At these parties we can conduct a massive experiment/study -
People can have their own treatment, drugs, health products which everyone can see the results of out in the open.
Lets have some of these televised. Doctors and Scientists providing special comments.
The doctors and nurses overseeing the people inside will have already have had covid.
(everyone will enter voluntarily and sign the relevant documents in case anything goes wrong)

it could be that the world's expectations of him are very low based on the previous 20 years we've known about him, but this is actually understandable.

Totally agree here. Vaccines are fine, if they've been properly tested. This COVID vaccine is pretty much experimental. You should never be forced to put something in your body that hasn't been properly tested. I used to work at a hospital, you had to sign consent on ANY KIND of medical procedure and/or medecine that was given. This passport and mandatory stuff is just insane.

Come on LeBron. You're a leader, a lot of people look up to you. Now you have this weak, half-way position about doing your research and deciding what's right for you.

People should be getting vaccinated, barring a very specific medical condition flagged by their doctor. Period. Don't validate the decision not to get it.

Yup. And the digital passport allows the government to essentially control everything we do. Just watch, in 5 years they will control our gas mileage, carbon footprint and they'll probably even control how much red meat we can buy. They've already controlled how far people can travel in Australia. That's after you send the government a selfie to know that you're home. If you don't send it, they send the cops to your crib. They've had like single digit COVID deaths since last fall. Insane.

Call me a conspiracy theorist all you want, but it's better to be safe than sorry at this point. We literally went from "please wash your hands" to "please scan to enter" in 1.5 years.

I honestly can't believe how so many people are okay with this. It's clearly not about health anymore. At all.
