Veteran guard Avery Bradley is in a competition with several other players for the Golden State Warriors 15th, and final, standard roster spot. As of now, Bradley seems to be the best bet to take that spot coming out of training camp.
Gary Payton II, one of the other competitors for that final spot, is coming off surgery for a hernia. He should be ready to go, but his lack of availability may be working against him with the regular season about two weeks away.
Bradley and Payton are competing with veteran guard Langston Galloway, former Warriors draftee Jordan Bell and young guard Mychal Mulder. Mulder has Two-Way eligibility remaining and that may help him stay with Golden State, even if he's waived to keep a veteran around. Mulder, Bell and Galloway are also all on non-guaranteed contracts.
