This relationship is not repairable? People have repaired relationships in far worse situations. Only people who were hoping Philly got screwed and ended up traded Ben for peanuts would honestly believe that
All Simmons has to do is report back, start playing like a dog, and have Sixers lose games. He has 4 years left on his contract, they can't fine him for bad performance, and he'll figure he'll have plenty of time to build his value back up in FA market after Sixers trade him.
Comments like this is why is seems some people are more interested in seeing Philly get screwed rather than what's good for the league. Why would Ben do that, and why as a fan of the game would you even want a player to do that?
I blame Sixers as much as I do Simmons for having this happen. As a fan of the game, I would like to see teams stop throwing people under the bus publicly or at least don't act surprised or innocent when they react badly. No, I don't mind seeing that front office (or more specifically Morey) fail. But more than that, I'm just saying Simmons didn't go through all that trouble if he was going to all of a sudden play nice and I'm thinking most reasonable people would deduce that as well. I wouldn't be surprised if he shows them he can play their game, too, and play dirty. You can't pretend Sixers and Morey are innocent in all this, their hands are just as dirty.
