This will be very interesting how it all plays out. After this who has more value Simmons or Kyrie?

I would say Ben for the Nets. He plays great D, they need some defense and he's under contract for 4 more years, Kyrie can be a FA in the summer.

Well that levels the playing field a bit more...

I'd like to know what KD is really thinking now about his move to team up with his best buddy Kyrie.
'Cos it's easier to try
Than to prove it can't be done

"wont let Kyrie play under his own set of rules", are you kidding me? Did he make the rules that made him not available to play. They are upset he wont accept the shot and now are trying to force him to comply. This is the ultimate disrespect.

It’s extremely hard and confusing for him when he comes across a hill or curve on his flat earth.

I bet the Nets are feeling a bit silly giving up on Dinwiddie now lol. It's not like they had the cap to retain him, but still how ironic.

US? When did you become a multimillionaire basketball player? Is this one of KDs burner accounts? There is no force involved at all, it’s all voluntary. Over 2.5 billion people are fully vaccinated if you choose to be in the minority and the rest of society moves on without you than that’s your choice and your consequences. Sorry to be the one to tell you this but the world is going to move on without you like the Nets are moving on from Kyrie and the only thing to blame for it is your choice.

Another team that will have to load manage through the season and hope they can remain healthy enough to make the finals. Who'd have imagined that building your team around loose cannons with fragile emotional IQs and equally fragile bodies could go from contender to pretender so quickly?

Not a Nets fan but this is a great move by the organization. It's really hard to develop chemistry with someone going in and out of the lineup. Basketball wise, this is the right move for the organization and team. I'm surprised KD gave the green light for this (if he did) but might signal his waning patience with Kyrie. If it's strictly an organizational decision, it bodes well for the franchise that they're not just pawns of their super star players and are able to make decisions best for the org.

C'mon bud, be a grown up here. Of all the problems that are going on in the world, you're choosing to make a crusade out of an entertainment company saying that one of their public entertainers--who plays live in front of thousands of people 100 times per year--is required to take a precaution about an illness that is currently a full-blown pandemic. It's an awkward situation and COVID is a major inconvenience for everyone, but this little Kyrie situation aint that deep.

The one thing I really like about Kyrie is that he brings focus to real and deep structural problems and doesn't just say easy things about them. Honestly don't think he wants anyone saying he's the real victim in society now and that this is he fight people should be fighting over.

This rule makes no sense, so stop pretending it's about covid/health. Unvaccinated players can play in "private business building" to practice as if covid doesn't work there. They can also play on the road, just not on their home court. All of these players agreed to do covid test, so the risk to anyone is minimal. It's about control, not science.

All the vaccinated people/players still have full control of their life.

You are drinking too much of the republican koolaid

LOL

"not science"

I knew the Nets would give him an ultimatum, but didn't expect it this soon. Props to the organization, I'm sure while KD and Harden have their own feelings regarding Kyrie, they'd just like this distraction to be over and done with. If Kyrie is going to continue on this pointless crusade, they should move on without him.

No. Unfortunately the consequences fall on all of us. It’s largely because of knuckleheads like Kyrie that this current lockdown exists in the first place.
