Lakers' Coaching Staff Has 'Put Everything On The Table' After Slow Start

The Los Angeles Lakers have cycled through 12 different starting lineups this season as they've struggled to find rotations and a style that maximizes their roster.

The Lakers thought the combination of Russell Westbrook and LeBron James would lead them to operate successfully by playing fast in the open court.

Dave McMenamin of ESPN writes that sources have indicated "the injuries and inconsistency have led the coaching staff to put everything on the table and ponder whether they have to change their high-paced plan on the fly."

"The Lakers focus too much on the names versus the games of each person," one prominent agent told ESPN after the loss to the Trail Blazers.

Lol. No ... LeGM and his agency Klutch sports thought this, otherwise the trade would have never happened.

I've said that for years....the Lakers always chase the sexy names instead of making sound basketball moves. It gets the fans excited but anyone who actually knows basketball knew this wasn't going to work.

Yeah Lebron has been out but Kawhi has missed the entire season and still have a worse record.

Hornets let Monk walk for nothing and then they acted like he was a difference maker in LA.

They did this with Harrell, Gasol and Schroder too. Hype always fizzles and then they try to trade the guys as soon as possible.

Their rotation has been a disaster and they're just throwing crap at the wall hoping it sticks. When everyone's healthy, it's obvious that their lineup should be:

G - Westbrook/Nunn/Rondo
G - Bradley/Monk/Ellington
F - James/THT/Baze
F - Ariza/Anthony
C - Davis/Howard
