The NBA has fined Julius Randle $25,000 for "egregious use of profane language" in recent media appearances. The New York Knicks forward was fined for comments after a practice on Wednesday, January 5 and after the game vs the Boston Celtics on Thursday, January 6.
Randle has struggled this season and has come under fire from Knicks fans for his poor play. In the win over Boston, Randle was seen giving New York fans the thumbs down symbol, as well as yelling at the crowd. The next day, Randle issues a lengthy apology for his behavior towards the home fans.
