Anthony Davis was spotted going through an on-court workout before the Los Angeles Lakers played on Sunday night. Davis was wearing a large brace on his left knee, but sources indicated it was precautionary.

Davis has been out since spraining a ligament in his left knee against the Minnesota Timberwolves on December 19. He's missed 11 straight games. Davis is set to be re-evaluated four weeks from the injury, which would come towards the end of this week.

The Lakers have gone 5-6 without Davis during this stretch. Overall, Los Angeles is 8-6 without Davis in the lineup this season.

Top 5 talent, top 20-25 results

lets not mention him in the same sentence with Yanis, Embiid and Jokic ever again

This dude pisses me off, he goes for 30 against a team like the Spurs, and everyone starts praising him and then he goes MIA for the next 5 games and then gets injured

Bron playing the center the last couple of games has exposed how much AD has underperformed.

I always argued the guy is not top 5 it made no sense he clearly was not better than LeBron KD Kawhi and Harden then you had giannis Embiid etc there were many players leading their team to playoffs which he only did twice.. He did play very well in 2020 but I still did not rate him over a ton of other players in the league and espn put as the second best player in the NBA ridiculous.. Top 15 I think is better spot for him.. Wonder if you could do a three way trade with philly and Portland give up AD to Philly and Russ THT and first round pick 2027 to Portland who also get 4 first round picks from Philly.. Lakers get back Lillard and Simmons.. Does AD still have that kind of trade value?

It takes balls to make a move that big, Rob Pelinka doesn't have those stones, but damn I love your thinking.

Portland would never go for it. Getting back Westbrook, THT and 5 picks? Seems like a big no for Portland. AD for Sabonis + Turner is more interesting to me. Lakers also get younger and more flexible lineups. Turner spaces the floor when it's just westbrook in, sabonis is a great cutter and also play-maker. He's also more aggressive than AD so it should let Lebron take more plays off. AD would never go for Indy but he's under contract and if it brings a title, then lebron/klutch is all good, who cares if it ruins their other client's relationships lol
