who would wanna watch people run around taking 3's all day, how many times this has killed the t-wolves in games

Of the various stylistic ways the game has been played in my 30 years or so of watching, I would say this is the best. It was way worse when you just cleared out one side of the court and ran all ISOs or when you had offenses geared around 7 foot all centers banging away at each othere.
There are a lot of threes now, but it also opens up a lot of space for driving, so there are more athletic basket attacks now too, and to get open threes you need to move the ball a lot more, so the passing is much more important and crisp as well. James Harden doing off the dribble, iso, step back threes might be about the only boring iteration in the new style on a night in and night out basis.
