The Detroit Pistons have called off their trade with the Denver Nuggets for Bol Bol following his physical.

Bol had foot surgery during his lone season at Oregon, but hasn’t had injury trouble since joining the Nuggets in 2019. Bol is on an expiring contract.

The Pistons and Nuggets agreed to a trade of Bol for Rodney McGruder.

pistons using a 4 year old injury to back out of a trade. Adam silver should not let this be voided. pistons have no idea what they are doing as a franchise

I doubt that is the case, they literally gave up nothing for him. They can also really use size at front.

You have no idea if that's actually true. You aren't a doctor either. They might have noticed something during his physical that has nothing to do with his previous injury.

You have no idea if that's actually true. You aren't a doctor either. They might have noticed something during his physical that has nothing to do with his previous injury.

Even if they are a doctor, what x-rays or evaluations would the conclusions be based on?

maybe he has an injury or hasn't healed enough from one to be able to handle extended minutes between now and the end of the season. Or he isn't well enough to get an extended look at to warrant a second round pick. Why give them a pick when we take a flyer on him this summer? Or maybe we will never know, just like any other time this stuff happens...

I agree with both points. Yes, he may not be a doctor and doesn't know what's going on with Bol Bol's foot, however, the relationship between Bol Bol and the Nuggets may have soured.
