The Indiana Pacers got a win on the road over the Los Angeles Lakers, but may have lost their All-Star center in the process. Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said postgame that Domantas Sabonis "has an ankle sprain that's probably going to be significant."

Sabonis appeared to hurt his left ankle with just under five minutes to play. He rolled his ankle when he landed on Russell Westbrook's foot while grabbing a rebound. Sabonis was able to stay in the game despite the injury and recorded a triple-double.

The injury comes at a difficult time for the Pacers. Indiana is already without big man Myles Turner, who is out with a stress reaction in his left foot. He won't be re-evaluated for two weeks and has no timetable to return. In addition, the Pacers have been discussing trades for both Sabonis and Turner. How this impacts that process is unknown at this point.

Hmmm…seems like Turner and Sabonis don’t want to be traded :D
