Jazz Interested In Trading For Robert Covington

The Utah Jazz are interested in trading for Robert Covington of the Portland Trail Blazers.

The Jazz have been targeted a wing defender. Covington is known as one of the better team wing defenders though he isn't a one-on-one stopper.

Jerami Grant is Utah's preferred target, but the Detroit Pistons have no interest in taking on Joe Ingles' $13 million contract with a future first round pick.

Raptors would happily offer Dragic (19M expiring) to soak up Ingles' money as the third team. If Portland has another 5M to dump, we'd take that too.

Covington for Ingles and a couple of 2nds... if the Jazz had a couple of 2nds this decade.

Yeah, I was being a facetious. I looked at their draft assets and it's kind of a mess for a few years.

Joe Ingles always kicks our ass. I wouldn't mind taking him and a 1st for Covington.
