Nets Explore Joe Harris Trade Options

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Tue Feb 8, 2022 12:35 pm

The Brooklyn Nets have explored trading Joe Harris, who has been out since November with ankle surgery. Harris was supposed to be back in January, but his return does not appear imminent.

In 14 games this season, Harris has averaged 11.3 points on 46.6 percent three-point shooting in 30.2 minutes.

While Harris is an excellent fit with Brooklyn's Big 3, potentially losing him for the playoffs puts the team in a precarious position.

Harris signed a four-year, $72 million deal with the Nets during the 2020 offseason.

he's probably only worth two 2nd rounders right now if that with injury setback issues.

Talon Horton-Tucker and Kendrick Nunn for Harris works. LA starts to retool fir next year. Not like they’re winning anything this year.

Lakers should take that deal and run.

Dude disappears in the playoffs. I'd be trying to get rid of him too

Insane contract for a guy who can only shoot. Kyle Korver was a similar player and he never got paid this kind of $$ that guys like Harris, Bertans and Duncan Robinson all got. And all 3 are terrible contracts too imo.

THT has been terrible so this seems like a good deal problem is Harris is overpaid injured and when he is on the court plays no defence would rather old man Danny Green

Lakers don't play much defense as it is but have some wing defenders on the roster already (Stanley and Bradley). Wing defenders are easier to find than great shooters IMO.
