Ja Morant underwent an MRI on Wednesday to further evaluate the soreness in his right knee. Morant injured his left knee in November.
“They’re doing that right now,” Taylor Jenkins said. “Right now, it’s soreness. That’s what he’s feeling. So they’re diving in a little bit more to see what’s actually going on and what course of action may need to be taken. But the evaluation process is still going on.”
Morant’s father offered an optimistic diagnosis.
“He’s good,” Tee Morant said. “You know he’s a cyborg.”
