Ja Morant Out Two More Weeks With Knee Soreness

Ja Morant will be reevaluated in two weeks as he continues to deal with knee soreness that has sidelined him for the past week.

Taylor Jenkins said the team expects Morant back before the playoffs.

"We expect him to make a full recovery before the playoffs, and we're excited about that with two and a half weeks left in the season," Jenkins told reporters, according to the Commercial Appeal. "We'll offload him early, then he'll start reloading pretty soon here with that two weeks in mind to reevaluate."

Memphis has a 15-2 record without Morant this season.

And here’s the bad part about guys like D Rose and Morant that rely so much on their athleticism….their gonna be extremely injury prone as their career progresses.

I really like Morant’s play so hope he doesn’t go quite the route that Rose did.
